Carbonari Table

Milan, Italy

Carbonari is a privately commissioned table designed to furnish the interiors of the attic of the condominium at 2 Piazza Carbonari in Milan, an important project by Maestro Luigi Caccia Dominioni.
The design explores the mechanical and aesthetic properties of aluminium in an exercise in lightness and camouflage. The table can be assembled and disassembled without the need for any tools in just a few seconds. It is made entirely from aluminium alloys and the 4 mm top is bent to guarantee excellent stability and greater structural resistance.
All components are mechanically anchored and every part can be replaced in the event of damage. When not in use, the parts of the disassembled table can be gathered together to occupy as little space as possible.
Every component is orbitally polished and brushed by hand to make the surface scratch-resistant and reusable. The use of a single material facilitates the disposal and recycling of the metal, even if the table is designed to be practically eternal.

Carbonari is available on request in customised sizes and finishes.
